It's back! Our summer Sundae Social was so fun we thought we'd do it again!!! Join us this Sunday, Sept. 25 for some fruit picking - Apples and Pumpkins. Our friends from JB's Barnyard will be here from 1 - 3 pm serving up their delicious ice cream treats!
Grandparents Day Brunch

Time: 10:00 am and 11:30am (CST) (two seatings) - select seating when purchasing tickets
Cost: $27 adults, $22 child (12 and under)
Enjoy some quality time with your grandchildren at Countryside Orchard. Start off the day with a catered kid-friendly breakfast from Dishes by Dani, followed by Storytime led by farmer Kristi. Then head out to the orchard for apple picking, yard games and photo ops at our picture stations. Each child's ticket includes a $5 voucher toward any purchase.
The ticket includes breakfast catered by Dishes by Dani, and hot cider or coffee. U-pick will be available during the event.

You, Me & a cup of Tea: An Afternoon at the Orchard

Join us for a relaxing afternoon at Countryside Orchard. Enjoy tea and pastries, accompanied with honey and fruit preserves. Learn about tea’s different origins and health benefits as Gina, owner of Mulberry Jean's, shares her knowledge and expertise. U-pick and pre-picked apples will be available during this event. A $5 voucher toward any purchase is included with each ticket sold.

We love having you visit our farm and strive to offer u-pick opportunities during each of our fruit seasons. We provide picking containers and bags for you to take your fruit home in. Take a drive to the countryside, get in touch with nature and experience the thrill of picking your own fruit. What a great way to make some lasting memories!
Field Trips
A UNIQUE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Thank you for your interest in bringing a group to Countryside Orchard. We love to host groups and help visitors learn more about our farm. Field trips/group outings are mainly scheduled July-October, as these are the months we have fruit in production. Visits are usually scheduled for 10:00 am (CT); however, we may be able to work with your unique scheduling needs. Our fee is $6 per child ($120 minimum). Chaperones and drivers are free.
This is an OUTDOOR experience. Please encourage your group to dress appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes (not sandals) are recommended for walking through the orchard. Our bathroom facility is a portable toilet, and we suggest students bring a bottle of drinking water.School-age group programs last about 90 minutes and typically include:-- an experiential "tour" of the orchard with information “stops” with activities/clues to lead groups to the next info station-- a group debrief and discussion of agriculture, growing seasons, and orchard basics-- each child will get to pick a piece of fruit (type is dependent upon what is ripe during the visit -- peaches, apples, pumpkins)
Preschool/Daycare programs are designed for ages 3-6 and typically last 45 minutes, not including transition times. -- a short "tour" of the orchard with age-appropriate activities -- Storytime under the trees with one of the orchard farmers-- each child will get to pick a piece of fruit (type is dependent upon what is ripe during the visit -- peaches, apples, pumpkins)
We can accommodate groups up to 50 students per field trip session. The program works best when we break the group into five "teams" of 5-8 for the tour. Each small group needs a counselor/chaperone. We can also accommodate groups wishing to picnic lunch before or after the orchard trip.

Photographers
Photographers
Countryside Orchard can provide a beautiful backdrop for family photographs. Be it spring blossoms, ripe summer/fall fruit, or a rustic outdoor setting, we've got you covered. Photographer fees: $30/single session or 3 hours access for $75. To hold a date for you, we ask for a $25 nonrefundable deposit, which will be applied to your total fee. Sessions should scheduled during our open hours. Requests outside of that timeframe will be considered on an individual basis, depending upon our staff availability, and may have an additional fee.
